VernissageTV Hits 10,000 Subscribers on YouTube

VernissageTV just reached a new milestone by hitting 10,000 subscribers on YouTube. Within 3 months after passing the 8,000 mark, another 2,000 art lovers have subscribed VernissageTV's Art TV channel on YouTube. The channel was created in 2005, and regular uploads started in 2007. The channel that is dedicated to contemporary art, design, and architecture now contains more than 1,190 videos that cover art exhibitions and events, and feature interviews with artists, designers, curators and architects.


The VernissageTV YouTube channel is one of the distribution channels for VernissageTV's videos, in addition to VernissageTV's main channel on Blip, VernissageTV's websiteiTunesDailymotion, and several others. The complete catalog and archive with more than 2,200 videos including full-length versions and Member Exclusives is entirely available on VernissageTV's website.

Currently, the most popular VTV video on YouTube is “Paul McCarthy: Life Cast”, followed by “Ryoji Ikeda: Test Pattern 100m Version at Ruhrtriennale 2013”. The viewers on VernissageTV's YouTube channel are currently mainly from the USA, Europe, Japan, Canada, and Latin America.
